By engaging the services of Jordan’s Dog Training, you (“the Client”) agree to the following terms and conditions set forth by Jordan Simpson-Porter (“the Trainer”).

​

 

 

 

 

1. 

General Agreement

 

 

These Terms & Conditions form a binding understanding between the Client and Jordan’s Dog Training for the provision of dog training services.
The Client agrees to follow all instructions and recommendations provided by the Trainer to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all participants.

 

 

 

 

2. 

Trainer Responsibility

 

 

Jordan Simpson-Porter delivers services using humane, science-based training methods with professionalism and care.
While every effort is made to support progress and wellbeing, no guarantees are made regarding specific outcomes or behavioural changes.
Video or photographic recordings may be taken during training sessions for educational, safety, or promotional purposes. Clients who wish to opt out should notify the Trainer in advance.

 

 

 

 

3. 

Client Responsibility

 

 

The Client is fully responsible for their dog’s behaviour, health, and safety before, during, and after training sessions.
The Client is expected to reinforce training between sessions for best results and to use discretion when handling their dog in different environments.
Children may attend training sessions only under close adult supervision and with prior agreement from the Trainer.

 

 

 

 

4. 

Health & Veterinary Considerations

 

 

The Client must disclose all relevant medical conditions, prior injuries, or behavioural concerns related to the dog before training begins.
If a dog is prone to conditions such as IVDD, joint issues, or similar health risks, veterinary clearance is advised before engaging in physical or outdoor training.
Dogs that are ill, injured, in season, or not up-to-date on vaccinations may be refused participation at the Trainer’s discretion.

 

 

 

 

5. 

Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

 

 

The Client acknowledges that training carries inherent risks, including the potential for injury or health deterioration, especially in dogs with pre-existing conditions.
Jordan’s Dog Training accepts no liability for injury, illness, or death arising during or after training sessions, including those connected to pre-existing conditions or stress-related health issues.
The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Jordan Simpson-Porter for any claims or losses resulting from their dog’s actions or health circumstances.

 

 

 

 

6. 

Use of Equipment & Training Environment

 

 

Training tools such as long lines, harnesses, and enrichment aids may be recommended or used during sessions. The Client accepts full responsibility for proper handling of these tools.
Clients are advised to wear appropriate footwear and outdoor clothing, as training may take place on uneven, muddy, or waterlogged terrain.
The Client is responsible for ensuring their dog has access to water, particularly during warm weather or physical activity.

 

 

 

 

7. 

Cancellations & Refund Policy

 

 

Sessions must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged in full.
Refunds will not be issued for non-attendance, early withdrawal, or unused sessions unless deemed appropriate at the Trainer’s discretion.

 

 

 

 

8. 

Aggression & Behavioural Referrals

 

 

In cases of extreme behavioural issues, especially aggression, the Trainer may recommend referral to a qualified canine behaviourist or veterinary professional.
The Trainer reserves the right to discontinue sessions if a dog’s behaviour poses a risk to others or if important information was withheld.

 

 

 

 

9. 

Privacy & Data

 

 

Client data will be stored securely and treated in accordance with GDPR regulations. Information will not be shared with third parties without prior consent, except where required by law.

 

 

 

 

10. 

Final Acknowledgement

 

 

By proceeding with services provided by Jordan’s Dog Training, the Client confirms they have read and understood these Terms & Conditions and agree to adhere to them throughout their engagement.
